Located in the heart of East-Central North Dakota along the Bald Hill Creek and ND Highway 1, Hannaford is a small, but active community. It is also part of the southern portion of the Griggs Steele Empowerment Zone.

The Hannaford Economic and Community Development Corporation is a non-profit development corporation designed to provide increased economic opportunities and benefits for residents and businesses of Hannaford and the surrounding region.

The Hannaford EDC sponsors several activities that involve the community including the Winter Carnival, Summer Community Picnic, the Women’s Showcase, and the Fall Festival. Working in conjunction with the City of Hannaford and the Hannaford Park District, we constantly strive toward making our community a more attractive place to live and visit.
